Started from a shared frustration.
Financial Reset began in Lugano as a side project among a handful of finance educators and writers who kept noticing the same thing: most accessible personal-finance content online was really a funnel toward a paid course, an app subscription or a referral link.
We wanted something different — a reference site that treats readers as capable adults who just need clear explanations, written once and kept accurate, without an upsell waiting at the bottom of the page.

Every guide, glossary entry and worksheet on this site is free to read and will stay that way. We do not gate content behind sign-ups or paid tiers.
Information, not advice
We explain how budgeting, saving and credit generally work. We do not review individual finances or recommend specific products or providers.

Our editorial team is based in Lugano, Switzerland. While our examples sometimes reflect the Swiss context, the fundamentals we write about — tracking spending, building savings habits, reading a credit agreement — apply broadly, and we try to keep language and terminology general wherever we can.
